Position Overview:

We are currently hiring Plow Truck Drivers and Machine Operators for the winter season. In this role, you’ll be responsible for operating snow plows, skid steers, loaders, and/or other heavy equipment to remove snow and ice from commercial properties. This is an on-call, seasonal position requiring flexibility, quick response times, and a commitment to working safely in challenging weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate snowplow trucks, skid steers, loaders, or other snow removal machinery

• Clear snow from parking lots, driveways, access roads, and other vehicle pathways

• Assist with de-icing operations by applying salt or other materials as directed

• Inspect equipment before and after use to ensure proper functioning

• Follow assigned routes, maps, and site-specific instructions

• Coordinate with crew leaders and laborers to complete jobs efficiently

• Respond promptly to snow events—typically during early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

• Maintain accurate records of hours worked, materials used, and site conditions

• Follow all company safety procedures and traffic regulations at all times

Qualifications:

• Prior experience operating plow trucks and/or heavy machinery required

• Valid driver’s license with DOT Medical Card

• Ability to work in challenging winter conditions and long shifts when needed

• Familiarity with snow removal best practices and safety guidelines

• Dependable, punctual, and available on-call throughout the snow season

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform basic equipment maintenance

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Reliable transportation to and from job sites or designated meeting location

Job Type: Seasonal / On-call

Pay: $25.00 – $35.00 per hour (depending on experience, license, and equipment operated)

Schedule:

• On-call during snow events

• Early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

• Shifts vary depending on snow accumulation and job assignments
